Streamlining Brewery Branding's Photography

During my tenure at Brewery Branding, one of my key responsibilities was creating product images for our clients’ websites. I quickly identified a glaring issue - there was no established structure or system for capturing these images. Without any pre-existing guidelines, I was tasked with not only producing consistent product photography for the clients' webstores but also defining the process.

Understanding the pivotal role images play in purchasing decisions and brand representation, I set a goal to establish a standardized photography system. This system aimed to streamline the process, guarantee consistent image quality, and ultimately enhance our clients' sales and brand image.

My process ensured a 2-day turnaround for photographs, from the moment new products were received to when the final images were delivered. I used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for color correction and image editing. I removed backgrounds and added shadows to give the final images a polished look.

To make the process repeatable, I developed canvas guidelines, standardized shot lists, and editing guidelines. These measures helped me build a streamlined and robust product photography system from the ground up, leaving Brewery Branding with a much-needed structure that efficiently tackled this task.

This process not only led to high-quality product images but exceeded client expectations, improving their webstore aesthetic and elevating perceived product quality.
