Mastering Email Campaign Management
While working at Brewery Branding, I assumed the role of managing email marketing campaigns. With no prior experience in designing and managing emailers, I faced a steep learning curve. This required me to quickly acquire new skills and be highly adaptable.
My role was to design 1-3 monthly emailers, showcasing our products and educating customers about fabric types or printing methods. The goal was to build customer trust, establish authority, and drive traffic to our website, preparing clients for informed purchases.
The project started with a topic or product focus, followed by copywriting to tell a compelling story. Copy drafts were reviewed and refined with my manager. Then, I designed the mailer's layout, using placeholders for text and images, before getting feedback from the lead designer. I took necessary product or lifestyle photographs, integrated them with the text into the email framework, and finalized the mailer design with our team. The emailers were then formatted in MailerLite and sent to our customers.
The emails worked really well. They got people interested in what we were doing, helped us reach more customers, and significantly boosted sales, setting company records. I also learned a ton about how to run email campaigns, track how they're doing, and manage a list of subscribers.
